Story and photos provided by AccessRec
AccessRec Team wishes FEE members, National Operators and Blue Flag site managers a happy New Year. We look forward to making more beaches, marinas and sustainable boating tourism operators accessible to ALL in 2018 by partnering with the Blue Flag organization.
To reach that goal, we have recently launched a new AccessMat® beach accessibility matting surface in one (1)-meter width which meets requirements of beaches in countries where accessibility is an emerging issue or wherever there is a need to create a path narrower than 1m52 and 1m83 wide.
To spread the word and increase the visibility of Blue Flag we will offer at no cost an aluminium sign that can be placed by any beach that meets the Blue Flag criteria. This sign is highly efficient for beach communities that want to communicate and educate beachgoers about their efforts to make beaches more accessible for ALL.
We are also proud to let you know that WaterWheels® floating beach wheelchair will soon have a little brother as we plan to launch a new wheelchair that will enhance accessibility to any outdoor recreational areas during the second quarter of 2018. Our chair will meet the same high-quality characteristics and affordability of the rest of our solutions.
To finally better serve the global members of Blue Flag, we are opening AccessRec Asia, located in Taiwan. AccessRec Asia oversees producing and supplying the same full range of accessibility solutions with the aim to better serve Asian, Oceania and Middle Eastern Blue Flag sites.
Please, feel free to contact us or the Blue Flag National Operator in your country to inquire about the exceptional discounts that Blue Flag members & municipalities can benefit from.
