Blue Flag is implemented nationally through a network of National Operators.
National Operators are responsible for coordinating the Blue Flag programme in their respective countries and are the primary point of contact for Blue Flag applicants and participating sites.
Their role includes providing information and guidance on Blue Flag requirements and procedures, coordinating national application and evaluation processes, supporting participating sites, and carrying out programme monitoring activities in accordance with applicable Blue Flag procedures.
National Operators work in coordination with Blue Flag International and their respective national networks to support consistent implementation of the programme.
